Igor Mezic, Ph.D,
Founder, Chairman & Chief Technical Advisor
Dr. Mezic works in dynamical systems and control theory and applications to fluid mechanics, micro and nanoscale processes. He received his Dipl. Ing. In Mechanical Engineering in 1990 from the University of Rijeka, Croatia, and his Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from the California Institute of Technology. Dr. Mezic was a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematics Institute, University of Warwick, UK, in 1994-95. From 1995 to 1999, he was a member of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he is currently a Professor. From 2000-2001 he worked as an Associate Professor at Harvard University in the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Jeffrey W. Strabala, MBA
Experienced executive with a broad multifunctional background at small, medium and large companies. Expertise spans military acquisition test and evaluation, service industries, manufacturing and supply chain. Jeff has an MBA from USC in Operations and Venture Management and a B.S. from UCLA in Mechanical Systems Engineering.

Emir Yasun, Ph.D
Dir. of Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Assay Development
Dr. Yasun has been working on a broad range of research areas in the interface of biochemistry and nanotechnology for over 13 years. He is experienced in molecular recognition, biosensor/bioassay development, theranostics (therapy and diagnosis), point of care diagnostics, cancer research, infectious diseases (such as STIs), nanotechnology and its biomedical applications, surface modifications, biophysical characterizations. He received his B.S. in 2008 from Bilkent University, Turkey, and his Ph.D. in 2013 in Analytical Chemistry (with an emphasis on biological applications) from the University of Florida. Dr. Yasun was a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department of the University of California Santa Barbara in 2014-2015. From 2015 to 2019, he worked with Dr. Mezic as a Specialist Scientist in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he got his experience in electrokinetic mixing and fluid flows.

Thirty-five year business operations/project management veteran responsible for day-to-day business operations support, encompassing document maintenance and control, the quality management system, regulatory compliance activities, management of government grants and contracts, and maintenance of company files and correspondence. Prior experience includes line management roles at AIMdyn Inc., Northrup Grumman, Ace Hardware and Cubic Applications and Boeing.
